Head of Sales DACH (m/f)

Cologne / Düsseldorf

As Head of Sales you will join a hyper-growth SaaS company setting the go to market strategy in the DACH region, building the team around you and executing the strategy.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Determine, implement and drive the commercial growth strategy in the DACH region
  • Identify target accounts and proactively acquire new clients (from hunting plan setting & execution to deals closing & new clients on boarding)
  • Accountable for client retention and new profitable revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain a personal network with clients and partners, predominantly at senior executive level
  • Ensure accurate sales reporting, metric analysis, sales recognition, and other ad-hoc sales operations support activities
  • Recruit, build, train, manage and motivate the DACH sales team


  • 5+ years’ experience in new business acquisition sales, including 2+ years in management roles
  • Previous experience being one of the ‘first on the ground’ and scaling business in a new market and an experience of selling B2B SaaS solutions
  • Strong operational leader with demonstrated success in driving growth, getting tangible results, and improving sales KPIs
  • Positive and creative, with strong willingness to win despite all challenges, thrives in a fast paced entrepreneurial and competitive environment
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships
  • Data-driven, results-oriented and accurate
  • German native speaker, Fluent English (French would be a plus)
